Name:	Loki Laufeyjarson

Bio

Loki is the son of two Jotun, or ice giants. He is the father of Vali (not to be confused with Odin's Vali) and Narvi by his wife, Sigyn, and also the mother of Sleipnir, Odin's eight-legged horse, the father of Fenrir, Hel, and Jormundgand, the World Serpent. Basically, Loki was born, wandered off, met Odin, and became good friends with him, to the extent that they swore a blood brothers oath. This is basically the Viking equivalent of making each other friendship bracelets and a Friends Forever scrapbook.

This relationship with Odin meant Loki spent a great deal of time with the rest of the Ægir right from the beginning. He hung around Thor a lot, because come on the guy's an idiot and SO FUN to fuck with. He was punished for setting up Baldr's death by being bound to a rock in the underworld with his son's intestines with poisonous snakes dripping venom into his face. His wife Sigyn stays by his side, holding a bowl to catch the venom; but when she has to go empty it, the venom continues to drip down on him; the pain is so intense that his thrashing causes earthquakes.
